qalma
Terms of Use
Last updated: June 2026
A short, plain agreement for a small, quiet app.
Acceptance
By downloading or using qalma, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app.
The app
qalma is a personal journaling and reflection app for iOS. Each day it gives you a blank canvas to handwrite or sketch on, and one quote to sit with. The app is provided on an as is basis.
Your content
Anything you write or draw in qalma is yours. It is stored only on your device, with no cloud backup. Because of that, you are responsible for backing up your device if you want to keep your entries. Deleting the app will remove the entries stored on that device.
Acceptable use
Please use qalma for your own personal reflection. Do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or otherwise misuse the app or its content.
Quotes and content
The quotations shown in qalma are drawn from works in the public domain and are presented for reflection and educational purposes. Author attributions are provided in good faith.
Intellectual property
The qalma name, design, and software are the property of Fahad Iqbal. They may not be copied, redistributed, or used to build a competing product without permission.
No warranty
qalma is provided without warranty of any kind. We work to keep it running well, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be available or completely free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app, including the loss of journal entries. Please keep your device backed up.
App Store terms
Your use of qalma is also subject to Apple's standard App Store Terms of Service.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
