qalma is private by design. It collects nothing, and what you write never leaves your device.

What we collect

Nothing. qalma has no accounts and no sign in, and it makes no network requests. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information about you.

Your writing stays on your device

Everything you draw or write is saved only on your device, using Apple's PencilKit and local file storage. Your entries are never uploaded to a server, never synced to a cloud, and never seen by us or anyone else.

No tracking or analytics

qalma contains no analytics, no advertising, no third party software kits, and no tracking of any kind. There is no identifier tied to you, and nothing about how you use the app is recorded or shared.

Notifications

If you turn on the daily reminder, that notification is scheduled locally on your device by iOS. No reminder content or schedule is ever sent off your device.

Sharing

When you export a day as an image, the image is created on your device and handed to the standard iOS share sheet. You decide where it goes. qalma does not keep or receive a copy.

The App Store

When you download qalma, Apple may collect standard purchase and download information. That data is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy, not by us.

Children

qalma is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no data at all, it collects no data from children either.

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
